WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU WALK IN
LOTS OF LOVE
PAST TRAUMA COUNSELING
It is hard to go through life without encountering some sort of trauma. There are times when people don’t even know they have been through anything traumatic because it happened in small doses over a period of time. Whether you experienced an acute trauma like a car accident or ongoing abuse, we are here to walk in to those dark spaces with you. We want to help you navigate the darkness with evidenced based practices and a safe environment.
A relationship between two imperfect people is not always easy. Some marriages go through times that are cold and distant or are in crisis because of choices that were made. We want to come alongside your relationship and give you the communication skills and real solutions that you need to find deeper understanding of your spouse and shared intimacy.
In a broken world, there are times when individual counseling is just not enough. There are family systems at play hindering the healing process. Coming together allows therapists an opportunity to teach communication skills to each member allowing them to better understand each other and feel valued by the closest people in their life. We believe this restores trust and allows healing where previous hurts still linger under the surface.
Therapy can help you overcome a variety of obstacles preventing you from living the life you want to live. Let us help you on your journey to a better tomorrow.
It is hard navigating emotions as a teenager. They have a deep desire to belong and matter to those closest to them but will often find unhealthy coping skills when those needs aren’t met. Our staff has logged many hours catering to the hearts of young people and offering them a space to feel heard and seen. We have found that combining a healthy therapeutic relationship with better ways to cope allows healing to take place.
Children are born with a deep desire to feel loved, cherished and adored. In a world of uncertainty and stress, their hearts can be left feeling confused and overwhelmed. What parents see as a temper tantrum or clinginess could be an emotion that they don’t know how to handle. We will work to name and understand those emotions combined with better coping skills for a happier, healthier child.
